It's handled fairly frequent use, and doesn't impair the use of the apple pencil. Smooth texture, but if you want a papery feel, get something else.

Not easy to install, but does the job

The more expensive screen protectors that come with a plastic guide to get it aligned and applied correctly are worth it if you want it to be easy and foolproof to get it on right.
