My wife listens to HD radio. This set was the answer for her to have good sound quality, portability and great reception.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend.he wanted a table top radio...he loves it...seriously a great sounding radio...he tells me every day how perfect my gift is and he really enjoys it!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my mother, since she needed one for her office. She has told me that she enjoys it very much and was just what she was looking for.

This is a great small radio. It fit in a small area of my work desk. It has good sound, good reception, and it is exactly what I wanted.

Nice HD radio, especially for the price. I like that is has both a hard extendable antenna and a wire antenna. In my office, I need to use then both to get HD reception for the station I purchased the radio for. Nice that it has presets and works on both battery and AC. It also has an AUX in port so you can also use this as an external speaker for your phone/MP3 player/ laptop/ etc.

I've been looking for a reasonably priced tabletop HD radio so I could listen to the news channels my local NPR offers instead of the non-stop classical music. This radio fills the bill in every aspect -- reception and sound quality are excellent, even for non HD stations. The presets make listening easy. It's on all the time. I should have bought another one.

Overall the radio works well in a residential setting. In an office it's subject to the interference found in most other radios; however, that is often not the fault of the radio as the HD signals are generally at a lower power than the base signal. The radio is mostly a table radio but does run on battery if you want, so it's useful during a power outage. A nice addition is an extra wire antenna that may be of use if the built in whip antenna does not work. Unlike the car audio market were there are a lot of HD radio options, there are very few home and/or portable HD radios. It's nice to see that Best Buy continues to offer a home HD radio and a portable HD radio.

Needed a portable radio, especially for when power goes out. Like the style of this one - sleek design; doesn't take up much space on table. Has good sound. Can use batteries but also has power adapter. Was easy to pre-set channels. Did have to return the first one - the power button would stick, making it difficult to turn on and off. Best Buy replaced with no problem - second one was perfect!

In need of an HD radio, I found that BB had one at the local store. However, it took about 15 minutes for the rep to find the product. The item worked as needed as soon as I installed the batteries. I used it for testing HD signal of a new station, and it performed as needed. For the price, it can't be beat.

This is the only HD radio for less than $150. Better sensitivity than my other HD radio. The "pig tail" external antenna does improve reception to a slight degree. Purchased an outdoor FM antenna which should allow the reception of HD greater than 20 miles away. This is a nice radio well worth the price.

For the price I paid it's a good radio. Hd channels are somewhat clearer than regular channels. I use external speaker system which works just fine. I just wish it had a better antenna system even thogh I'm using the plug in wire antenna. Again for the price I paid, I'd buy it over again.

The radio worked fine was small what I was looking for except it did not have am radio so did not keep it

This is a very good radio but it lacks the AM band. I am not sure that this was noted in the online documentation. Reception is good.

I love this speaker. The hd clarity and expanded stations is the reason I bought this item. Sound quality could be better but it's small. It also has audio in AND out which was pleasantly surprising

I now own seven Insignia HD radios of three different models. I have purchased four of this model and have three in different rooms in home and I gave a fourth to my step mother to use in Urbana, Ill for the NPR classic music feed there as well. The radio has good HD reception, is easy to use, has an external power supply and an external jack to support portable devices such as IPods etc.

I use this radio in my car as the car radio went out and I didn't want to pay a lot of money to replace it. The reception and sound are fantastic!

We us it in our side by side to plow snow, great battery life and picks up several stations

Met expectations. Sound good. Easy tuning. Small size makes it perfect for use on a kitchen counter.
