I have a slim disc drive in one pocket, external old slim hard drive and smart phone, XBox One controller, and more. Still extra room with thick cushion laptop. I'm buying another one soon. This is the bag to have to hold everything and still look like its not stuffed. (You can add a external capture card, Elgato HD S plus.)
