Works well, but only with phone.

My DSLR does not have an external mic input so I used this with an iPhone 6 in the groom's pocket. It worked well recording the soft-spoken groom, the bride, and the officiant. The sound quality was great, and I was able to sync the recording with the DSLR video. However, the mic is wired to only work with phones. After buying it I found other mics online with a switch that let you use them with either a phone or a camcorder. If I had had more time, I would probably have bought one of them.

By clipping this microphone on the speaker's shirt, I should be able to get a clearer and more consistent audio. Be aware that the plug will not fit in the headphone access port on my LifeProof protective iPhone case. I must remove the protective case to make this work.

Gets the job done

Didn’t work with camera

It doesn't work.

Quite simply put, it didnt work. I tried it on my DSLR, nothing. I tried it with my Galaxy S7 - no good. I tried it with my desktop computer and my laptop computer - and it didnt work. So four out of four devices and no functionality. In short, this is useless. Do not buy.
