Bought them on a "Deal of the Day" promotion. Small, which is a good thing, for some placements.

I wasn't sure how well these would work, but we really like them. We had a night when the electricity went out after we got them, and they really helped a lot.

This flashlight really impressed me while shopping, and even more once I got it out of its package. The bright beam feature packs a wallop in dark places, while the low-beam option is perfect for milder needs. The sliding-focus capability greatly enhances the usefulness of this item. Wish it came with a carrying cord, but that shouldn't be difficult to improvise, while it's modest size means that it slips easily into my hip pocket. Used it as recently as yesterday afternoon. The strobe light feature is fun to have, though I don't know if I'll need it.
