The lights are super bright on the high setting. I don't feel that they will last once dropped a time or two. No flashlight with the 3 modes seem to last due to the switch. My biggest complaint is that on one of the flashlights, the button is sunk in which makes it difficult to press with my thumb.

VERY HOT after 1 minute

Pun intended -- the handles get soooo HOT!!!!! Nice and brite and work well but in an emergency these flashlights would be a detriment.
