Have to tap on it to possible make it flash for a second. Both did this. Put in brand new batteries. Same problem. Threw them both in the trash. Look elsewhere.

After about 3 months they both broke and no longer work. Something with the contacts inside because if I shake it or bang on it they will flash for a second and go out again. Waste of money!

Return/replace was easy at the store, but why have to go through the hassle on a simple item ? Also realized I prefer a flashlight with the swith on the side, vs the end.
