iPhone adapter to use on exercise equipment

There is only one of these adapters. It makes zero sense to purchase this if the apple one is available (apple actually sells theirs cheaper than this one). I only purchased this item because the image showed two. Not worth it for one. The product itself is made fairly well. No complaints on the product itself, but more so the fact that the image shows 2 even though there is only one in a box. It does have a braided cable which is nice, but not worth the extra $2.

The Apple ones last less than a year which is sad but this one lasting two months is unacceptable. I use it less than an hour a day on my walk.
