very easy to use. was able to remove files from laptops no longer used. Speed was quick too.

[Employee of bestbuy] I bought 2 of these and they saved me so much time when I changed out my memory for both my Steam Deck and Rog Ally. You can take the original cards and put them in this enclosure and restore your system from these external cases after you put in a newer larger memory. Now I have 2 external M.2 SSD cases to put my retro roms on. Worth every penny.

Need to use a external enclosure for extra storage for a employee when we upgraded his laptop from factory. He said it worked like a champ and was easy to use. Depending on what you have a m.2 installed, it could get hot to the touch.

This enclosure is easy to use and has fast read and write speeds. I use this to clone another drive and when I am done with the clone I will use the old drive in this to use as a storage drive.

Acquired this to "save" my main drive of a Win 11 mini-pc that crashed due to a power issue not protected by a good power strip. Transferred the M.2 drive easily into this enclosure and could access all the data on the drive. It boots from USB if BIOS is toggled to do so. Easy to transfer the M.2 into this enclosure.

A little bit confusing to operate, if one could believe a device like this needs any "operation". What I mean is it's not a straightforward plug and play. You can not find the files that were on the drive where you expected them to be, and some files simply do not show at all. It takes a learning curve to become comfortable with it, but even so, some promises remain unfulfilled when you can never see again some of the files that were (or still are?) on the drive you are using this for.

I bought it to transfer the OS from an ssd. I didn’t have any luck with that. I did not try very hard. It does make a convenient external storage device if you have a spare memory card.

Honestly, I did not own this for very long and ended up returning it shortly after purchasing it. The Samsung 990 PRO with Heatsink 2TB PCIe®4.0 NVMe™ M.2 SSD did not fit inside the enclosure due to the heatsink, but it would likely perform well if a heatsink wasn't attached.

This enclosure works exactly as described, the drive was immediately recognized by my pc, and the speed was fast. There is a small plastic holder in side the enclosure you can change to hold drives of different sizes can be a bit figity at first but once you're used to it, it's nice holds the drive in place well.

Quick and easy installation, better then a flash drive

This NVMe to USB-C enclosure has a smart tool-less design. I bought it to upgrade my 500 GB NVMe to a 4TB one, it worked well for the cloning process.

This gives you the ability to have faster and more affordable external storage. I compared to other external SSD all in ones and this one combined with an internal SSD drive is more affordable and can be switched out, allowing more options and backups.

Works better than more expensive name brand products. Cables are ample length. Adding a piece of heat sink material or silicone helps keep it from getting excessively hot. The design helps with gripping yet remains flat when laid down. I would give it 5 stars if it included a heat shield, I’m not referring to a heat sink. And if plastic the tool less feature was more durable.

Good quality for the price, fits SSD well and is a secure place to store without having to worry about damaging
