It took care of what I needed it to but I had to return the first one due to an intermittent problem with the supplied cable and the latch. No problems with the cable on the second one. The latch is just a very poor design. Out of two of them, I couldn't get either one of them to latch nor could others who tried around my household. Really doesn't seem to matter though. Push the M2 down just a bit when you insert it back into the supplied enclosure. No problems removing it back out. If you need something now, don't hesitate to get it as it will work. If you are nitpicky like I am and expect the latch to work, find another.

Does what it needs to, but runs super hot

I was honestly concerned that even the included heatsink bight not be enough to prevent some small degree of damage to my SSD.

Great NVME PCI SSD Compact Enclosure

I just had a church laptop go down due to cooling fan issues and needed to get files transferred to a new replacement laptop. This worked perfectly. Very easy to get the drive inserted and stick on the thermal pad. At a nice price too.

It works fine, with minimal to no thermal throttling from what I can see. Speeds are what's listed on the specifications page. It comes with built-in thermal pads so you shouldn't have to worry about it overheating too much, depending upon how hot your drive runs

I've only had it a couple of weeks but so far for basic editing with HD footage it's been working well. Haven't tried to see if it's fast enough to keep up with 4K footage yet. As an enlosure to put an NVMe stick in and use for storage, it is fantastic.

My 4TB option for my new Laptop.
