They're easy, they work, my only thing is they aren't clear on how to apply the thermal pad, but I figured it out.

My only gripe is the housing should have been larger. SSD's like the Samsung 980 Evo with a built-on heat sync won't fit.

A thermal pad is included if you would like to use the metal shroud to help passively cool the drive. There is a USB C cable included as well as a C to A adapter.

I had to salvage some files from a 1TB drive and this saved me. Only issue I had was getting the drive past the retainer clip. The instructions aren’t very clear. The trick is to remove the clip first (vs turn it 90 degrees) and then insert the drive. Then put the clip back in. Other than that the adapter worked great

After I wiped the drive, and now I use it as an external drive for storage and games kind of expensive, but it does its job well.
