Seemed like a really good deal and I was running low on storage so I figured it was a great option. However, something about the firmware on this device creates some issues with the PS5 where you will never actually be able to install any games on the thing. Any time you try it will inevitably fail out and present a message. It does seem to work fine with my desktop however, I guess i need more space there as well so there's that.

Used daily as usb boot drive for imaging, cloning, and file transfers. Decent throughput, generally 8-900MB/s depending on the drive in the slot and usb c connection. No issues with hynix, wd, inland pcie gen3 and 4 drives so far, works better than the one it replaced. Perfect enclosure if you need to swap drives often but be careful to pry the retaining tab outward a bit when slotting a drive, its pretty snug and the ssd pcb will flex if you just press it in.

I use this to clone/upgrade systems frequently and it transfers fast and streamlines the process to clone/upgrade/swap an m.2. I'm not sure I would use this as a permanent external storage drive. I would probably buy something dedicated and fully sealed for that use. Otherwise, this is a great product.
