I am forced to order another SSD enclosure. Purchased in March 2023 with a 2TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus drive. I own another Samsung 970 (2TB) in a Mokin enclosure and I work that drive much harder than the one in this enclosure. This week the drive began to drop off my desktop - when I feel the enclosure is is VERY warm. The identical drive in the Mokin enclosure is much cooler to the touch and has never dropped off my desktop. Running attached to a M2 Mac Mini Ultra. On an aluminum stand open to cool air flow. Investing another $30+ into a different enclosure. Best Buy's customer service is simple an infinite loop with no resolution or ability to ask even and AI chat bot what my options are. $35 for 6 months of service. No thanks.

I figured since it was 2280 it would work, it too about an hour to get the SSD to fit while being able to put in the lock keeping the SSD in place, was extremelt difficult. Overall, the device works but be mindful of what you plan to use it for and make sure the SSD will fit.
