Lock is finicky but it performs great!

Definitely need to address this issue. Other than that though, it work great, is very fast, and love to see the heat sink!!!

It works perfect. The lock mechanism is a little tricky as it fell off multiple times trying for me to twist and lock it to secure the SSD

Insignia M.2 NVME USB-C SSD Enclosure

I did have to do something a tad different than the directions showed. I had to push plug the plastic sizing clip on the ssd instead of using a rotating function, but aside from that it seems to work and does the job. No issues yet, does get warm to the touch, but that is normal, and it does have a great USB C cable and adapter included.

It thermally throttles severely when doing a full disk copy such as Linux dad command. I recommend finding a thunderbolt enclosure from a company that usually supports the Apple ecosystem - that one never noticeably throttled the same WD nvme and sustained a very high transfer rate (could not complete with this insignia enclosure).

I use it for all my side games so yeah definitely a good purchase if you don't have any space inside your computer and if you have a extra SSD.
