The button to press takes a bit of work to push down in order for the lid to slide off, but it did eventually slide off as intended.

One day my laptop was broken but my data needed to use right away. Because my assignments and exam file needed to recover so, i just bought it and tried to use it. It is very useful. But it is not compatible with my galaxy s9+ Tablet maybe because of the power.

I opened it up to recover the harddrive to find out that it had a small SSD drive. After a little research, I disovered that this device would allow me to still use the harddrive as a portable drive. Works great.

If you just need to copy or backup a drive every once and awhile, this works great.

Had the software, but the laptop no longer recognized the drive. Removed, placed in case and hooked up to another machine. Found everything and transferred to new drive w/ cloud backups. A+
