Seems solidarity…Don’t know what was wrong but windows didn’t recognize the drive, other enclosure I got was instantly recognized. Otherwise the item seemed well built ,very thick usb -c cable ..maybe just needed to set up windows .

This item works okay but the inner fastener should be a screw rather than a poorly designed plastic insert. I understand that they are trying to save money and work for different lengths of boards but this fastener is crap.

It works well but I do think it's someone expensive as an adapter.

Worked as expected, thank goodness. Bought a new computer, saved the SDD from the old one, and recovered files that weren’t transferred to the new computer. May use as a backup drive

It's great, does the job, insert the nvme, and done, we get oretty good reads and writte speeds too, only downside a little pricier

Worked well and had no issues with reading the new drive allowing me to clone my new drive before I installed in my laptop. Took a little work to figure out to get the retainer clip out, but once figured that it just pops all the way out, works great.

works as intended got some spare nvme drives but no more slots on my mobo this also helps with backing up nvme drives to certain time.

In some aspects it is a litte cheep on the screw that holds in the drive, but does the job i purchased it for

Excellent product, bought it because my PC only has one spot for SSD and decided to make my old SSD external and has been working great.

I got this to create an easy to use fast, external back-up option. I added a 1 TB m.2 drive. Set-up was super fast and easy. Comes with a generous slab of heat protection to top it off!

Bought it to check an ssd lying around and it works well. Just be careful with the plastic piece that helps hold it in place, i managed to break it by moving it the wrong way.

Works amazing, has fast upload/download speed, fits many size of M.2 SSD, but the wire it comes with doesn't lodge itself into the USBC port, so it is easy to accidentally disconnect itself from both ends

I was cloning my laptop's SSD so i needed to connect the new SSD to my laptop via a usb connection. This worked perfectly. It opens and closes with a simple button and the SSD is held in place with a simple hand turned fastener. Not tools required.

This produxt claims to be plug and play but definitely not. “Tool free”? Ya right, even with a tool it’s impossible to secure your ssd card to the enclosure because no screw fits it. Its supposed to come with a fastner for your ssd which holds it down so it isnt damaged while its in the enclosure. There was no “fastener”. Support kept denying that a fastner is not included but on the manual it is on there. I was looking for something simple and easy to use but I got something that I can use because it might damage a $120 SSD. What a waste of money

worked for what i needed for but the tab to hold the nvme down broke off

I needed the files off an old SSD. The Geek Squad helped me set this up and I've been able to rescue the files I needed.

I am currently using it on a 2tb nvme. I haven’t noticed any temp issues so it’s still great

Very simple device to recover data off your memory chip found in newer computers. Just insert chip and plug into usb port on another computer to backup or recover files from the storage unit.
