This enclosure makes SSD swaps very easy! It works flawlessly and fast. The only bad thing I can say is that they include a USB-A to USB-C adapter, but don't tell you. I bought one separately, so now I have two...

I looked online to get something I could put the WD SSD drive in to clone my existing SSD drive (512gb), The ones that were online were $$$ and since I was only going to use this one time, I was looking for an inexpensive way to house the SSD so I could clone it. I do wish it would have come with cloning software, but I found some online and it worked. The build quality is ok....nothing spectacular, but NOT cheap. The little tab inside that holds the SSD drive is pretty much useless, but it really isn't necessary.

Completely tool-less setup. Drive tray releases with a button latch. SSD is secured down with a movable twist-lock latch with positions to secure 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 SSDs. Came with a thermal pad. No screws, no tools needed. Connected right up to my Windows workstation without any hesitation. The drives I've installed have been accessible immediately. This is the slickest enclosure I've ever seen. Leaps and bounds better than any other enclosure I've purchased from the market of Bezos. If you're like me and need an enclosure, with intention of frequently swapping SSDs out of it (e.g. for data recovery/troubleshooting/etc), this is your best bet.

Worked great for getting data off from a disabled laptop computer. This allowed me to restore the laptop to a windows 11 operation system and then restoring files as they were.

Great tool for cloning OS drives. My laptop only has a single drive slot for NVMe, and MSI hasn't released the drivers for said laptop to perform a clean windows install, so clean install would fail every time. Managed to clone my original 500GB drive to a 4TB drive using this enclosure. Allowed me to upgrade my laptop capacity significantly. Not sure I would use as a permanent drive enclosure on high performance drives, but works great for hooking up a target drive for drive cloning.

Works great and is easy to use. It does work with Linux even though the box does not say that specifically.

It worked perfectly. It took two sales associates to locate this item on the floor. Once they did I bought it and it worked perfectly.

I had an urgent need for this, and couldn't do my usual pre-purchase research... it worked. (ubuntu 22_04, not issue, plug and play)

Very clean and well made product. Feels very sturdy and did its job with no major issues. My one hiccup with the device is the small peg used to secure the other end of devices in it, which can be a bit of a pain to remove once in place without something to poke it out with. Very minor, and otherwise a good product

The little screw does not fit with the ssd. Instead of using a cheap plastic screw, you should use a metal screw like every motherboard uses.
