Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The coiled cord is kind of short and very tight making it difficult to hold the device in your hand and have it plugged in at the same time. Maybe that is by design. The insulation has broken right behind the USB plug. Probably from trying to use the phone while plugged in. It needs a strain relief in this area. It also is very slow at charging. Also by design.

Great car charger

When I got the iPhone I also bought an extended battery Mophie and a car charger. The car charger disappeared when my wife cleaned out my car while I was in the hospital for 10 days with a broken femur. You have to be careful because the charger that will fit the iPhone will not fit the Mophie extended battery phone cover. This car charger works great and has the 6 foot length in case you ever need it.
