Substitute for Kindle charger

It is slower than my original charger for my LG Stylo 2V android phone. However I will keep it as it is a substitute for my phone if my original phone charger cable breaks. I have bought other Insignia products and have been very pleased with them. I will continue to try the charger and check if it improves over time. I have had it one day.
