Connect MacBook Air 2015 to HDMI cord

I went in searching for a USB to hdmi adapter as I explained that my Mac laptop is an older model and doesn’t have a USBc or HDMI port on the sides. The store clerks then said what I probably looking was this and it works great to connect my MacBook Air 2015 to a HDMI for a second monitor

Great Adapter

I had previously purchased a Belkin brand one but the end that plugged into the computer was big and bulky and interfered with the HDMI cable next to it. This one is great and much more compact, no interference anymore.
