Great addition to my MacBook Air to connect to my 55" Sony Bravia and Apple TV!!!

The Macbook Air doesn't have a direct HDMI port to connect to the TV for streaming. This works great and they had plenty in stock.

I could get this to work 80% of the time. When it worked, it was great, but it would be the time i really needed it, where it would act up. I was using this for my external display for my Macbook Pro.

I purchased this because my girlfriend's Macbook Air does not have an HDMI port, works perfectly fine when connecting to my 4K Tv

With just about a month to the purchase it has given up working. Not a very good accessory to buy. I haven't heard bad things about insignia products, but for me, this hasn't worked so well.

This did a good job of hooking my macbook to the cable that hooks to the television. We needed to run a dvd for a class we're taking so we could do homework. There is no sound through this, however.

I bought this to output video/audio to my tv from my Surface Book, and while video worked flawlessly, it would not transmit audio. I ended up returning it as the audio portion was needed.

Pro: -Has a nice snug fit on both ends when I plug it in. Con: -It's very short, so if your HDMI or other cords aren't long enough, you'll have to buy/use an extension cord.

Just picked up this HDMI adapter and I love it! Awesome for watching movies or mirroring the display on my MacBook to my TV!

Needed a cable to connect a MacBook Air to an external Dell monitor - showed BB guy devices and he told me what to order as it was not in stock at local store. I ordered what was told would work and waited 5 days only to find out it didn't fit! Returning as soon as quarantine is lifted! *had to give 1 star in order for review to be accepted

Simplistic design. Works great from my Macbook Air to my Sharp AQUOS TV. Great quality of video and audio. No issues at all.

Used it to connect my laptop to a TV and it worked great. Used for an apple computer because the connections are different.

Used with Pro Surface, works with many different projectors for presentation. Plug and play no setup necessary.

Feels like I have to have too many chords and I have a lot of devices to decide which one should ne my main hook up. My house is big. How many routers an modems do I have to have?

Best Buy has never let us down. No matter how big or how small the need, it is great to know we can always find it there.

Use this whenever we want to stream a movie from my mid 2012 MacBook Pro since it doesn't have a built in hdmi

Bought this new picked it up at store and recieved a open box but i paid for a new realized it was open box when i got home then i head over to best buy couple days to tell them well to either change the price or i want to return this so they changed the price then couple days past decided to finally use it and what do you know it did not work so then i thought the return policy was 30 days turns out only 15 days so basically i recieved a product that did not work in the first place

it does its purpose but the price seems high and the cable seems cheap. The HDMI slot is also very narrow so sometimes it is hard to get the cable to fit unless it is just right.

It works great! Instead of spending $100 more to get an Mac with HDMI you can by this and used the same way.

This adapter does what it's supposed to do. There is no lag in the video processing. The picture looks great.
