    This adaptor is far less expensive than the same type of device advertised for sale from Microsoft for use with my Surface Pro 3. Better yet, the salesperson told me that the same adaptor works with my wife's Macbook as well, further saving us cost! It works great. Highly recommended!

    Don't know what else to say... it either works or it doesn't. This one is kind of hard to mess up. The good news is, it's plug and play. Don't forget to set your display settings once you plug the other monitor in though-- that may be your issue if it doesn't work.
