    Makers of this type adapter make a fortune whenever Apple, which is prone to do so, changes its form factor. Very irritating to have to frequently change these.

    I needed to connect an external monitor with a VGA connection to do some testing with a Macbook and this is just what I needed. Pretty straightforward to hookup. Plug the mini displayport end into your Mac and plug the the other end into the monitor VGA cable.

    Items works well for the most part. At time the screen will go blank and you need to unplug the cord from the computer and plug it back in and it will work again.
