    Wanted to hook up another monitor to my (late 2008 I believe) Macbook Pro and this did the trick. This adapter will allow you to connect a device such as my old Compaq W17q monitor with a VGA input to a Macbook Pro mini DisplayPort out.

    i bought this for use with my Mac mini to connect to a projector at school. It works great and it's really good quality. I was surprised with how good of quality insignia made this product. It feels just like my apple one but cheaper!

    I purchased the Insignia™ - Mini DisplayPort-to-VGA Adapter - White rather than the Apple brand as it is $10 less. The adapter fits as good as the original brand and performs as expected. Thank you for a great product.
