Be careful if you used a different adapter before
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't have any problems with the product but the drivers for this adapter and my last adapter did not play nice and blue screened my computer. All it took was clearing out the old drivers and it worked like a charm.

Surprisingly great

However, I was in a rush and the Best Buy I was at did not have the Apple version so I purchased this one. I am quite pleased with this adapter and it functions equally as well as the Apple version. I would highly recommend it (you'll save some money over the Apple version as well).

Does the job, but not well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this adapter because we needed a second one and it was a few bucks cheaper than the one made by Apple. While the Insignia adapter works, it does not do so as well as the Apple one we have in the house. Specifically, I have noticed that on my external monitor the image is a tiny but blurry and the blacks do not come through as well as they do with the Apple made adapter. It still works fine with a lower resolution projector, though. It is also worth noting that this cable is about twice as long as Apple's.
