The part that attached to the rear port in the iMac was too small. I happened to have the correct size at home and resolved the issue. Good...for a while.

Then, about a year after I bought it, it stopped working. I keep it in a small zip pouch in my work bag, so it was not damaged. The last three times I have tried to use it, with my computer and other people's, it has failed to connect the laptop to the project. I'm disappointed and plan to seek warranty information.
