    If you aren't going the wireless route with an Airport/Airplay, this will be the simplest way to get your Macbook onto your monitor and/or projector. Just click on your "System Preferences", "Display", and voila.

    I'm not a mac user, but lots of my friends, colleagues, and students are. They could never plug into my projector. I'm happy to now be able to accommodate their devices. Simple plug-and-play device.

    I have a HP Spectre 360 that I primarily use for my classes. This display port allowed me to project my presentations without having to email it to myself and upload it on a Jump drive.

    My new work laptop did not have a jack for my second monitor at home. I work from home a lot so I really needed this accessory in order to use my second monitor. Lucky I found one at Best Buy!

    Didn't know how much I would like this until I hooked up my Mac air 13 inch to my large monitor. Hook up is easy and I use it all the time . Great idea for this Granny!
