Poor Button Design and Micro USB

I got about 15 seconds of run time on the initial remaining charge before the unit died. I plugged it in and a few hours later found the LED charging light flashing, which was not covered in the manual but indicates not able to charge. The speaker sounded OK for the amount of time that I was able to test it. The button design is awful. You can't even see the button indicators in bright daylight because the entire top strip is black, no contrast at all. Also, I would not have ordered this speaker if the specs had indicated that the USB connection was Micro USB. Manufacturers need to stop using this outdated, asymmetrical connection, convert to mini C, and stop shipping charging cables.
