This is a great entry level bluetooth speaker. It doesn't break the bank, and doesn't over perform for the value either. It has decent sound, especially for the price and great battery life. It is small and easy to carry around, and has clear sound. If you are looking for huge bass, keep shopping but if you just need clear sound at a great price this is the speaker for you!

The sound is fantastic but it only last 7 to 8 hours of playtime. You have to recharge everyday.

I will not claim that it has bass to rock the house, but the quality and clarity of sound is better than expected...VERY GOOD! The bass is enough (especially for a small speaker) to do the job, and was more than I hoped it would be. I didn't test the 23 hours, but I know I have used it for much longer than other portable speakers without having to charge. All the way around, a great $20 buy! And...a nice surprise!

The sound quality of this little speaker really surprised us. It's easy to set up and sounds great. The only improvement I could suggest is a little color or some other highlight on the buttons as they are hard to see. The embossing on the buttons isn't that easy to distinguish. Other than that, we love it!

I have not really made an extensive comparison of similar products, but this one has been serviceable. I use it constantly, using it with my mp3 player, my flip phone and with my tablet. I used it the other day to contact a governmental agency, and I was on hold for 45 minutes. I had it sitting on top of the piano while did my piano practice. When the agent came on the line I could hear him because the volume was loud enough. Throughout the call I could hear the agent very distinctly and apparently the agent could hear me. I suspect any device equipped with blue tooth is compatible. This was one feature I hadn't expected. I bought a second one for my wife because sometimes she listens to music or informative pod casts on her smartphone. I have also used it somewhat remotely with the speaker located on a different floor of the house.

The sound was not great. Returned it the same day.

I bought them on sale for half price and they are not worth it.

Horrible sound / my wife has a little Phillips speaker and it blows this away. The Phillips was actually cheaper.

Earpiece does not fit around my ear properly. It keeps falling out. I will be returning.

A couple of years ago, I got my wife the Big Brother to this little guy and it has been great. So when the opportunity came up to get this version, I was curious to compare. In all, I am not disappointed. CHarging was quick, pairing was simple and the sound was really good for a speaker this size. I really like the fact that it is water resistant since I have 2 teenagers who can have the memory span of gnats. If they leave it out and it gets rained on, I don't need to worry about it. I bought this exact one in summer of 2020,.. and it's a great value and has great reach in sound ....i got mine for only $9.99 on a store sale, and IT WAS A GREAT BUY IN QUALITY! *The best part of this is that it verbally let's you know when it's needing to be recharged, or on a USB!!! I use mine when gardening outside, or a room space that i want to project music or podcasts while micromanaging time...

I bought two because the speakers support pairing them together wirelessly for stereo sound. Unfortunately, my phone doesn't support this feature, so pairing together won't work because of my phone. However, because the speakers sound good for the money, I'm keeping both. Since they are water resistant (not waterproof), I can use one in the bathroom or outside without being concerned. I'll admit that my teenager's wireless speakers sound better and are louder, but she spent ten times as much. If you want a good value that you can take to the park or pool without worrying, these are it.

This is a no frills Bluetooth speaker. Bang for your buck it’s a great buy! Sound is better than I had expected for the price point. Battery lasts longer than I had expected. I used it for 2 hours right out of the box with no issue. Then I charged it overnight and have been using it for maybe an hour each day for the past week and it hasn’t died yet. Insignia puts out very reliable and cost friendly products. This speaker is also water proof per the packaging but I prefer not to test that feature.

Received my Insignia Mini Sonic Portable bluetooth speaker about a week ago and it's pretty impressive. Inside the box along with the speaker is the user manual, USB charging cable, and a wrist cord for easy carry. Connecting to a bluetooth device is fairly simple if you've ever used anything bluetooth compatible before. All of the controls are along the top and it takes no time to put the speaker in pairing mode and connect it to your TV, phone, computer, etc. My only gripe would be if the controls on top were painted white so that they stand out a little more. All in all its a great little speaker to carry around to the gym, beach, park, etc. Or to just sit on your desk while doing work and listening to music. Battery life was awesome as well.

I absolutely love this speaker! I just connect it to my iPhone with Bluetooth and its ready! Also, there is a built in microphone to answer phone calls! It comes with a USB cable to charge! It's small and portable! I take it with me to my office, when traveling, or any other room! They have gone above and beyond customer satisfaction!

This speaker is a great value. But when it is only $13 for Black Friday, it’s an absolute STEAL. The sound quality is impressive for a speaker this size. Knowing the quality I would even pay the full price of $40 easily. It’s also very durable and has lots of features you rarely see in a speaker at this price range. Overall this is an excellent speaker.
