Excellent alternative to major name-brand small bluetooth wireless speakers. Insignia is Best Buy’s own personal brand and this speaker packs a loud, clear volume even when using just a single speaker like I do. It can also be paired with another Insignia speaker for full surround-sound like quality if you desire.

Great mini speaker! I looked online for reviews of small speakers to attach to my bike and this one stood out. When I saw it was a deal of the day for $12, I decided to buy it. It plays music well and is great for travel. It is not an audiophile speaker but gets the job done when you don’t want to use your device speakers. It plays loud enough when indoors or out on a bike. Still ties up your device so not like a smart speaker.

I bought this because the internal speakers on my MacBook Pro were on the fritz. It easily paired with my laptop so I turn it on whenever I need audio. I carry it with me when I go into the next room away from my computer. It fits nicely in your hand but it also has a wrist strap. The sound is really good. No complaints. I suggest you position it where you can see the blue ON light. Otherwise you’ll forget it’s on and drain your battery.

Good sound for a small space, good battery life, and good size to be able to take anywhere.

Small and compact. Sounds good for it’s size. Wish the buttons weren’t so hard to see though. Everything is black.

I bought to use with an old MacBook and iPad that the speakers were no longer working. Good sound quality and the volume is fine for my use. I don't use them for music so don't know how they are with sound turned to 11. I will say the back side is plastic and if it is laying on its back on a solid surface like glass you get a lot of vibration which distorts the sound. I purchased when they were on sale, they were a solid value.

just got this today,got alot of power havent even tried to turn it uploud, enough already,,,much more bass thn most speakers for this price,voices are clear and crisplil more bass than im used too.but i like sound and volume .alot of speaker for this price.buy buybuy.im always happy with INSIGNIA sound items.

I connect it to the tv and set it close to me. That way I can have the volume real low and not disturb anyone sleeping. The long battery life is nice! Sound quality is good. Having the sound closer even enables me to understand some words better. I may get another for my wife since it supports 2 connections to the same Bluetooth source. Last - If it’s already on, I crank up the volume and then set it against my phone for telemarketers to enjoy.

Really surprised by this little speaker. Bought it originally on sale to use with a device that didn't have a built in speaker and just wanted a cheap speaker for voice cues. Works way better than that! I've been using it with my laptop and phone for tunes. Sound quality is much better than I would have expected, decent bass and nice clear highs. Battery life is also much better, by a factor of 4 or 5, than most speakers in this class.

Good priced item. Charges quick. Last a good 5 hours. Sound is impressive for a small speaker.

So happy I bought 2 of these. I am making a small meditation room out of a closet and this is perfect for it. The sound is amazing and just right for big sound in small space. I used the mini lanyards on each speaker to hang on a top rack shelf with carbine clips. Bluetooth pairs both speakers to a smartphone that I loaded with meditation mp3s. Very happy :))))

That’s a great Little speaker… I have another brands expensive ones and I bought this for using as need it… so far I stop using other speakers only use that one!!! Battery life sound everything is great!!! When it’s on sale don’t miss it!!! I bought 2 and paired them I love it!!!

This small speaker is a marvel! I didn't have big expectations, but when I turned it on, I was blown away with the rich bass it possessed and it sounds like a speaker twice its size! I play it at work and I'm constantly being told to turn it down from across the office! Haha they got to deal with it! Love this speaker!

I use this on my iPhone to listen to books on tape. The phone battery lasts longer. It is much louder than my phone. It sounds good to me. I use it every day.

It is portable and has a long-lasting battery with decent sound quality. The wireless range was not as good as advertised (but it was ok). However, I could not control the volume by my phone (iPhone 11). Every time, I had to press the button to volume-up or down on the speaker. So, I returned the mini sonic portable and changed with a sonic portable (bigger one). So far, the sonic-portable does not have any issues and has a better battery life than the mini sonic. If you are lucky and do not have connectivity issues, the mini sonic is a great value speaker. Maybe I was not lucky.

I have had this over a month and VERY Happy with it. It has the volume I needed for my HP Envy, that has very poor volume. The design needs improving, because the buttons are black on black and you need to feel them out to use the correct button. I taped a piece of paper over the top as a guide

I never had anything from this brand so before buying it, I was afraid because that the sound quality would not be good or the volume would be a little bit low, but I was totally wrong and it was a great surprise when I used it for the first time. The battery life is great, it lasts more than 20 hours of use without having to recharge. I really recommend it. Nice price. Great cost-benefit.
