This device met my needs for a relatively portable speaker for when I did not want to mess with wireless connections even though it is bluetooth capable.

Good sound, long battery life. Like the pairing option, wish it would pair with regular Sonic too. I am overall satisfied.

Bought for $15 to improve sound on macbook (e.g. facetime). The mic does work, but only when using for voice conversations (light blinks 3 colors). Instructions say nothing about how to use the microphone. For the price and size the sound is much better than I expected, but people that like highly accentuated boomy bass may be unhappy. I prefer tight bass (e.g. grado labs).

Great product for the price. This is my second one and the first I have had for years but I forgot it on vacation and ordered a second one.

A great little speaker for the money, wish I had bought a couple more. Only negative, the controls could be highlighted, but I took a gray sharpie and did it myself.

While the build quality of the housing seems robust, the designers could have focused more attention on the speaker. Because it has only one speaker, output is monophonic. This allows the unit to be compact, but output is monophonic (not stereo) and not well suited for listening to music. Bluetooth connectivity is variable with my digital audio player (using LDAC connection-priority), but seems solid with my phone. The sound quality on phone calls is good with no notable echo. But unless you are in a small conference call situation, a headset would be a better choice. This speaker is not made for listening to music. The frequency response tries to be U-shaped (emphasis on bass and treble), but the speaker size and lack of stereo makes music tinny at the high end and anemic at the low end. Overall, I would only recommend this unit as a small portable conference call speaker. Use something else for one-person calls and listening to music.

I got this to place CD's on my portable CD payer in my car and it works just fine, perfect for what I needed

Great product. Does what is advertised. Have it faced any issues up till now.

Pairing was a breeze. It charged fast, but doesn't hold a charge for long. I have it paired to my Kindle and the sound quality is pretty good for a speaker of this size. But to run it for hours I need to keep it connected to my laptop or the sound will start to sputter letting me know the battery is about to drain. R&D should have decided on a better quality battery for this.

It’s ok. A little tinny in sound. Also the volume does not move up smoothly but in large jumps.

Unfortunately, I bought this speaker for 39.95, not the current 19.95. My review would be different had I paid the latter. But for 39.95 I was a bit disappointed. Little to no bass. Not sure what the other reviewers are hearing. Very thin sound. For 19.95, I'd give it 3 stars. But for the higher price, I expected more.

Pros: 1) OK sound for the price, when you buy on sale it for $15 or less 2) easy to synch up and get started Cons: 1) can't adjust volume form your device, only from the speaker 2) when you start a video, it takes a moment for the sound to kick in, so the picture and sound will be out of synch Verdict: returning

I received this as a gift. I have no way to get warranty service. At first the range it seemed adequate, but never as good as it claimed. A few months later the ranger was down to a few feet. It seems to be charging fine, just not working fine. I'm very disappointed.

Couldn't maintain a connection with my laptop indoors less than two feet away, even with a fully charged battery and the volumes on the speaker and laptop both higher than I normally like (per recommendation in the instructions). Also, the sound quality was not great when it worked, very tinny high tones. Will be returning.
