I should have chosen a larger mouse pad.

The battery life is excellent and you can work on the laptop for hours before the laptop requires a charge. I am not familiar with Apple programs, but Page (the Apple wordprocessing program) is relatively easy to learn. I'very only spent a little time with the other programs to date.
