The pad itself is very grippy underneath, so you won’t have to worry about it moving! Great to take on vacations and to work. Good upgrade from a old one.

It's a mouse pad

The top fabric isn't getting balled up or fraying, and the optical mouse has had no problems with the surface after a couple months of use. Could stand to be a few inches larger in both length & width. It will probably last for 2 years or so, but it was very inexpensive, and I'll just buy another one when it begins to fall apart.
