Did not need a thick rubber pad. Not really a high tech purchase but was glad to find what I wanted.

I was a bit wary at first because I'm not really experienced with mouse pads, and my mousing skills are only fair to middling. But boy am I happy now!

Sooo, since it lasted a couple years, I went to my "go to" store "Best Buy", and purchased a new one! I love going to Best Buy because I know, I'll find what I need. It's a great mouse pad, and just the right size for my desk. I recommend them, and give them 5 stars.
