I've used the plastic style pads before and they tend to gunk up the bottom of my mouse, causing it to stick and there are even ones out there that tend to slide all over the desk too. This one has a soft, rubbery backing so it stays put and a fabric top that keeps the bottom of the mouse clean. The price is right too.

It's black, which is cool. It smells like it would taste good. I haven't tasted it but if i were, just the over all quality of the pad seems like the taste would also be good. It was inexpensive. This was literally the best buy as far as mice pads go.

It works just fine. The mouse rolls and tracks just fine, with no issues at all, on this mouse pad. Plus, this particular one has a neat marble look.
