However, I bought a mouse pad with my $5 credit in the past. The cost was only $5 so it was a good deal. The pads have now increased to almost $8 dollars. Inflation?

You can put it under your mouse, and it makes the mouse work better. Highly recommend this one because it's cheap and it gets the job done. However, I would not wash it in the washing machine. [It was the cheapest one that Best Buy sells.] What really impressed me is that Best Buy sent this black mouse pad to my home. The shipping was FREE! The mouse pad with tax cost $7.48. I keep telling friends that I was shocked to find out that BEST BUY ships a parcel this cheap by FedEx.
