Rests his head right next to the mouse. I'd add a picture, except that the cat and the pad and the mouse are all black. No photo op there.

On a slippery glass table, the item doesn't move around. The nonslip rubber works great. The colors are good too.

Works very well for my IR mouse and much better than dragging the mouse over the top of my desk. Bottom of the mouse also stays much cleaner.

They appear to be fairly sturdy, if a bit prone to easily getting dirty. A good scrub in the sink and an air-dry solves that neatly, though.
