I was always told I did not need one with a wireless mouse. However, I have since learned it truly matters what type of surface your wireless mouse is on in order for it to work properly.

Some things are done better with a mouse in my book and this track pad was the perfect size and price. Could not have done better for quality and price anywhere else.

Despite its advertising, my Microsoft Bluetooth mouse doesn't always perform well without a pad. I like the thinness of this pad. It allows my DVD drive to slide open over the top of it.

This is utilitarian and reasonably priced. I think you'll be happy with it. (Especially if you are a big fan of Darth Vader).
