    It is a piece of foam covered with fabric. I don't see how you can go wrong with that. Optical mice don't really need a pad, but they do work smoother and more precise with one.

    I love the pad and the price was just right. I have now had it for a year and it is starting to curl up on the edges. Almost time for a new one but, I will buy this same one. This pad really helps to lower static when I use my mouse 8 hours a day for work!

    I have had many mouse pads but I now have two laser mice (I crack myself up) and this works awesome. Before I had to have a reflecting surface but with this I do not. Simple just like me.

    The mouse pad is nice to use and the mouse moves very easy on it. The surface is slick enough and has a good look about it. Cost is more but it is worth it. You get what you pay for.
