Very thin and this may be something others are looking for but i've gotten free ones from providers and such that are of MUCH better quality and thickness than this unit. I would have NOT bought this had I know the quality!!

Sure it is made of a polyester and not a Polynesian material; However, it evokes a tropical feel every time I look down at it. Aloha, Life is good!

The pad is small compared to the larger more spacier kinds available. This works great for my computer that has limited desktop space. My L.E.D. mouse works good on it, not missing a beat. I cannot tell you if it is good for the mechanical style mouse.

Works great with new mouse. Mouse glides effortlessly along the smooth pad and it is big enough that I don't slide off the pad while navigating.
