I recommend it for people who suffers carpel tunnel. this is a great way to avoid it.

The stickyish pad allows you to place and hold position and still pick up and adjust multiple times and still hold.

My optical mouse glides over it easily and there is no drag at all. The pad is also a nice size - don't have to worry about the mouse going off the edge.
