Very lite weight and very easy to use. A good quality product for the price.

My wireless keyboard and mouse were sketchy from the start. I fought with them constantly. Finally the keyboard just failed after less than a year, after eating countless batteries and causing me constant stress. Finally, I just bought the Insignia basic wired keyboard, and instantly the stress was gone. It has worked flawlessly, as has the matching mouse I bought at the time.

I have used and owned several commonly known mechanical keyboards for the past 4 years. I was very hesitant having to purchase a simple keyboard just for my spare linux tower. As soon as it arrived in the mail, I plugged it in and started typing away. Within seconds, I was more than pleased and extremely satisfied... not only with the price of the keyboard...the feel of the keys are responsive and its quite nice to revert back to a quite keyboard. The way the keys click in and pop back have a good solid feel as well.

I needed a keyboard to use at home when I hooked up my work laptop to a monitor. Didn't want to spend a fortune to get bells and whistles, just a keyboard that worked with my computer, was easy to use and sturdy. This keyboard meets all the requirements. Unless you think a $60 keyboard will help you type faster, this is the way to go.

The letters on our keyboard were getting worn down, so time for a new one. This is the second Insignia i have purchased and I love it. Easy to type on. comfortable using it. And you can't beat the price. Would buy again down the round if needed

Bought this keyboard after a few keys on my laptop quit working. I had decided to go with a wired keyboard over wireless since the batteries on those don't last as long as one would like them to. The keys are very responsive and you can't get much more simple in a set-up than just plugging into a USB port and going from there.

I've been using this keyboard for over six months, and it's great. Easy to use, easy to set-up, and never had any problems with it. The keyboard can be easily cleaned from time to time. Great price and a highly recommended product for your computer.

The keyboard works great, has good touch and feel. it was very easy to set up as it was recognized by my laptop running Windows 8. Black Color matches color of my laptop. I purchased as it has a full size keyboard as well as a number entry pad.

To my great annoyance, a key broke off the keyboard of my Acer laptop. I tried gluing the key back on and, that caused the key to lock in place to where I couldn't use that particular key. The laptop was still usable barring the one messed up key so, I spoke with the Best Buy computer geeks to find a solution. They suggested I buy a keyboard that I could hook up to the laptop so, I could type in stuff and still use the still otherwise functional laptop. I bought the Insignia as it cost me just $10. The keyboard was easy to connect (used a standard USB port), didn't require any software set up and started working immediately. I've used it for at least 2 months now and, it's been great. It does everything I need it to do and has saved me the cost of buying a new laptop. If you want a good basic affordable keyboard, this one might be the one for you.

My cat chewed the wire on original keyboard therefore, I needed to grab another one . Due to this current pandemic supplies are low and demands are high. This was the last keyboard on the shelf when I walked in the store that day so ..... Here it is and it was a good last choice. On sale I believe too. Meets all my needs and I would recommend to others when their cat chews their wires...

Excellent board for the price. The keys have a good feel and is quiet. I would prefer a beige keyboard wiith black letters and numbers on them for better contrast for it is sufficient with proper lighting

As a member of deal of the day, I got a great price. During this pandemic, it great to get out of the house, and truck to Best Buy. This keyboard is sturdy built. The keys have good pushback. The price is right. I'd buy this again.

This was the perfect keyboard for me. Easy to connect to the laptop and the keys are nice making typing a breeze. Highly recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for simple keyboard for regular computer typing.

We purchased the keyboard to replace one that had developed two faults: (a) sticky CTRL key and (far worse) (b) discovered to be very noisy when the owner got a set of hearing aids. Sooo... off to Best Buy to "tap-test" keyboards. The helpful store personnel opened boxes for us of units that did not have display models. We tried their entire range of wired (our preference) keyboards, from those over $50 to this Insignia brand. All of the rest were too "clacky" for our tastes (and now high-frequency-capable ears). The Insignia was very noticeably quieter than anything else in the store, and had a good "keyboard feel" for effortless touch-typing. Now it's in service with us and working (quietly) like a champ!

I needed a new keyboard since my wireless keyboard kept messing up. This basic keyboard was what I needed -- just a simple, inexpensive, dependable keyboard. A great value when I badly needed to get some work done and wanted something that would work!

This is a new version that is compatible with the new iMacs. I have the old version and love the soft touch of the old version that I know had to have another one for my iMac. Highly recommend it, reliable and because of the black color it does not show dirt like the white Version did.

This is a basic standard keyboard but it gets the job done well. I bought this for my home office so I could have a full size keyboard for when i work from home. It's nothing fancy but it works great, and the price is great for what you get.

I love this keyboard. It is so quiet and easy to type as the keys only need a light touch. Bought one for my home office and ended up buying a second for my work office. Price is great too. I highly recommend!

This keyboard is laid out exactly like my old one and has a few upgrades in functionality. Great keyboard especially for the price. The keys rise above the board and are not flat and all crammed together like some new keyboards, which make it harder to touch the keys precisely.
