Insignia is their house brand and even though they continue to make cheap, generic filters for other brands like Samsung, they rip you off for their own house brand filters. Ridiculous.

water flow is slow!

It will take over a minute to fill a cup of water. Everyone in the family complains. I've looked for other filters to use as an alternative but there are no alternatives. If you buy a fridge that takes this filter, beware!

The quality of the filtered water tested similarly to tap water. Given that the replacement is hard to come by in the manufacturer’s brand, not let with much choice, but overall not dissatisfied.

It might just be my model of refrigerator and YMMV.

I threw out 3 buckets of ice and 2 gallons of water to see if that made a difference and it has not. It’s undrinkable water.

Read the reviews and was skeptical that it wouldnt fit but I tried it anyway. Glad I did as I believe they are not manufacturing the actual Midea brand filter anymore. Will be buying again. Best Buy to the rescue.
