It might just be my model of refrigerator and YMMV.

They broke my new fridge

I threw out 3 buckets of ice and 2 gallons of water to see if that made a difference and it has not. It’s undrinkable water.

Read the reviews and was skeptical that it wouldnt fit but I tried it anyway. Glad I did as I believe they are not manufacturing the actual Midea brand filter anymore. Will be buying again. Best Buy to the rescue.

When the filter was installed, the ice maker stopped working. Best Buy offered no trouble shooting assistance. Being passed off for over an hour does not constitute assistance.
