If you want to change the water filter, you have to buy it from them.

Avoid Insignia products

We were so happy with it, we bought one for another rental. However, we had ice maker issues with both fridges, and the water filters do not last long. Add to that the fact the water filters are frequently out of stock, and there were no after market filters for these refrigerators. We won't but Insignia again.

The similar GE brand NSF53 filters are 1/8th inch too long at the o-rings and won't fit.
