Good price, two for price of one, easy to replace.

I purchased this because the listing specifically said it would fit my LG fridge. It listed my model fridge and filter as compatible. Unfortunately it does not fit as the piece where it inserts is bigger than what my fridge actually holds. So i had to spend the $55 for an actual LG filter instead. Pictured is the filter that it says it is compatible with but in fact is not.

After dumping the first 2 1/2 gallons of water ....... the quality of the water is really good. This is the second filter we have installed and are quite pleased with the simple installatiuon and quality of water. A big factor is that it is cheaper than the LG replacement filter.

I am so pleased to have found this for my Kenmore Elite (LG) refrigerator. Sears wants 60 bucks for these filters and you can find the LG OEM for close to 40 bucks. But the LG are hard to find from quality sources. I have seen them on Amazon for 75! Either way that’s way too much money! 25 bucks is about right and that’s what this Insignia costs. On the other extreme are the off brand filters sold by Amazon for 10 or 15 bucks. From what I can tell - those are questionable quality and I would not trust them. I don’t know why the OEM filters have to be so expensive but I suspect it’s because of lack of quality competition and so they can charge what they can get. I wish Insignia would make a GE XWF filter for 25 bucks! The GE OEM XWF runs 50 bucks and it’s impossible to find a quality substitute for it. With as many GE fridges as there are - I would expect there would be big demand for these!

These filters work great in our LG refrigerator. They cost so much less than the LG brand and function perfectly! There is absolutely NO difference between this label and the LG and worth every penny LESS!!

I've bought 2 LG OEM filters that caused leaks and so I decided to try this... No leaks and water tastes great. A lot less expensive also

Great alternative to the LG water filters. Cost less and fits perfect! I think they are better then the LG filters.

When I was looking to replace my LG refrigerator water filter I found that this filter was half the cost of the LG brand and has worked great. I had no problem with the fit or performance. Save some money and take this filter home.

I always bought Kenmore Refrigerators, but the parts & Fliters seem to always Cost an Arm & Leg. Found these products from BB work just as Good if Not Better. Best of all They Cost Under Half Price...

This filter although not sold by LG is am excellent replacement filter. this is the 7th insignia filter I have purchased over the years and I have never experienced a leak during use. Filter installs easily and is easy to remove without any mess.

Let’s be honest, OEM LG filters are a rip off. I’ve tried filters from every other major store. Orange home place, blue home place, az online store place. They all have had weird taste, low flow, foul easily, break up and dump carbon into my cup, or just don’t last (my house is really a bunch of water snobs and can taste when it’s time for a change). Maybe the filters are all from the same mfr and I’m fooling myself, but I have now used as many of these insignia brand as the other brands combined, including 4 OEM filters. I have never had a bad insignia filter. I’ll keep buying them as long as they sell em. Oh by the way. I dont know how COVID somehow resulted in a shortage of 2 packs but not singles, but cut the crap and offer double packs again. Thanks.

Easy to install and works. The water tastes just as good using this filter as opposed to using a more expensive filter.

Fits our Kenmore Elite refrigerator from ~2015. No leaks or issues of any kind. Can't tell difference from OEM and way cheaper.

Fits perfectly in LG double door top, bottom freezer. Popped out old popped in new very easily. Be sure to run water through for a time before drinking.

Why oh why do I have to pay for water??!? As much as my refrigerator cost, I think the filters should be free twice a year (beyond that typical usage, then you buy it). So again my frugality kicks in during my shopping experience. I drink a lot of water, so spending $100, $150 a year for filters was grating. I just happened to stumble upon this Best Buy brand. At a fraction of the cost, I was overjoyed. But not always trusting store brands, I was also skeptical. Just the same, I did buy. Well, it does what it should. My water tastes like water and looks like water. So I am thrilled. If I could give it 4.5, I would! Again, 5 requires excellence. Not there, but still a great product.

It works well. Is much less than brand name. Since I bought my refrigerator at BB it doesn't mess with Geek Squad Warranty.

Water and ice from fridge is always crystal clean with a pure water taste. Very easy to install. 2 pack is a more economical purchase.

non OEM works for our fridge at fraction of the price. no issues with compatibility or leaks. As advertised
