    It is tough to know if a filter like this is working. My TDS meter reflects a similar amount of total dissolved solids in water filtered through the fridge with this filter as my tap water, but when I test for lead, which his my primary concern, it does seem to be removing lead content. For that reason, I'll rate this as an average filter. It seems to remove lead, but I'm not sure if it does much more than that.
