    For best water taste and quality, purchasing a filter that supports both NSF 53 and NSF 42 is a must. Previous water filters I purchased only supported NSF 42 and over time the quality of the water degraded. Selected the Isignia Water Filter because for the same price, it supported both NSF 53 and NSF 42. Immediately, saw a big difference in the water quality. Waiting to see how it lasts during its product lifespan. Will definitely purchase again if water quality is maintained.

    I bought a LG brand water filter and installed exactly as instructed. Within a month developed major leak. When I removed the cartridge the rubber O rings were falling apart. Contacted LG hoping to get a replacement for this faulty expensive filter but they refused saying the filters carry no warranty! Big waste of money. Insignia filter costs half as much works great and has a warranty. Goodbye to LG overpriced and low quality filters.

    These seem to be quality filters at a fraction of the cost of the LG branded filter. As the deal is the day, these are even better values. Sears charged me 60 dollars for this filter the first time my fridge needed one. That was the only time I was duped into paying that much. I only wish my LG fridge was as good as these filters.... but that’s a story for another place and time....

    Save your money, these are just as good as the LG parts, no reason to think your drinking cleaner water with the LG for more money! I've always used these and still standing upright! Save your money for a good steak!
