The Samsung branded filters were out of stock but I was told by a BB associate that these worked just as well and they were one half the price. My thinking is that I would pay the full price once every six months but I went ahead and bought them. They looked the same and installed almost exactly like the Samsung brand which I have not had a problem with. I could not get these to “lock” or click into place. I even used a Channel Lock to turn them, but not too hard. I checked and there are no leaks. It seems to be working fine with no change in the taste of the water but, it is not clicked into place.

The polite person helping me said that the filter I bought was not useable for my refrigerator. I decided to purchase this filter anyway. When I looked at the enclosed information, this filter does work! Also, the directions in the enclosed information did not speak of allowing the filter to sit in water for 15 minutes. So I didn't regretfully. The water tasted odd for the firs few glasses (since I did not let it soak). Water is good now.

When we replaced the used product with this product I purchased at best buy there was some leakage which caused us concern. The filter took awhile to stop leaking after 20 glasses if water. Could've been a dated in warehouse product?

Be very careful when buying these new filters. I reordered the same ones I've been using for the past year so I wouldnt order the wrong ones. Found out a couple days later my fridge was leaking and checked the models compatible to the fridge. They changed it so I had to return the ones I got and use the new ones Best Buy provides. Very confusing since they changed the old model to something different rather than just making the new one for the newer fridges.

Samsung replacement filter is way too expensive. The insignia filter cost 50 percent less and it does the job!!!!’

Good quality water filter, clean and clear water..

They are cheap yes. Do they work? Yes. Do I recommend them? Once in awhile, while they work they do act differently and their life span is shorter so the value is misleading since you buyb2 for the price of 1 but 1 lasts a long time

The price was higher than I would have liked to spend. If I was not in a hurry I would have looked someplace else to save money

Doesn’t fit like the original it’s a bit Longer than the original one that fits Samsung

I don't remember my fridge being a noisy before replacing the filter. But its working and no leaks.

This don’t last very long -at the most 6 months before you spend 50 dollars to buy more
