There is no way to use this microphone at all. A total waste of my time and money, I will never buy at Best Buy again.

On my 70d it was a complete fail, as it didn't record a drop of sound. Had to return. The cord was super long and would be great if you could get it to work on your camera

I returned my copy. Sadly, it did not suit my recording needs.

For the low price, the sound is great. It makes a world of a difference when adding this mic over the factory installed ones on my cell and camera. It delivers quality sound.
