Direct connect from DJI Spark RC to iPhone

Here's the signal path and the two connectors I used to make a custom wire harness. ||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased a DJI Spark and wanted to couple my iPad mini 4 with the remote controller with a direct wire instead of wifi. Two things prevented this. First, it appears that DJI eliminated support for the OTG coupling with their latest firmware update. Secondly, after I purchased this item and brought it home did I read the fine print that states "will not work with Apple products". So it looks good but it will not function for my intended purpose.

Great Product

Its best attribute is the fit in the MicroUSB jack - it hugs the phone casing well and makes a solid connection with the port. So many OTG connectors are sloppy. The cable seems flexible and durable. Highly recommended.

A Must-Have Accessory

I needed to connect a mouse to my son's tablet, which was cracked, so I could save some items on it. Best Buy had this cable in stock when other stores in the surrounding area did not. A little pricey for what it is, but money well spent.

I use it with my DJI Drone

This works like a charm and is nice and short so I don't have many feet of cable getting in the way, as the drone controller has a phone holder built in.
